This web site was set up to inform its viewers of muzzleloading events
and news in and near Connecticut and to showcase the webmaster's own
interests and experiments in muzzleloading.
This was previously the web site of the Pattagaussett Muzzle
Loaders, a club originally founded
in 1972 to promote interest in safe black powder and muzzleloader
shooting. Unfortunately, the encroachment of 'civilization' forced
the club to sell off its excellent range and trailwalk area,
and the club
effectively disbanded in March of 2006. Some
archives of the Pattagaussett Muzzleloaders' activities can be
seen
here.
